(Blog Post #13) - Hilary Duff Concert

It has been several weeks since the Hilary Duff concert, but my mind keeps drifting back to that day. For most of my life, seeing her live was the ultimate dream. In recent years, I genuinely doubted it would ever happen, which made standing in that crowd feel completely surreal.

A massive, glittering disco ball hung above the stage, framed by shiny purple-silver curtains. The fashion was an absolute highlight. Hilary’s outfits were stunning, and the crowd was a sea of nostalgic Lizzie McGuire and classic early-2000s tributes. I wore a carnation pink sequin tank top paired with a seashell necklace. Landing floor seats for the very first time made the experience unforgettable, especially when a cloud of confetti and falling balloons rained down everywhere.

The next day, the buzz hadn't faded at all. I went to Cento Raw Bar and it quickly became obvious that the entire city was talking about the tour. The server actually asked if I was heading to the concert later that night. It felt pretty amazing to smile and reply that I had already gone the day prior. Even weeks later, that memory still brings back all the magic.

* Summer is summering.
