I can’t believe it’s been over a year and a half since my poetry collection has been published. Once there was a publishing date for my poetry collection, I remember running around trying to get my song together. I figured I had lyrics to an actual song, one that could be my very own.

I met with my vocal coach on Zoom several times to practice my song before I recorded the final version. It was so fun feeling which of my recordings was better. I put seven more of my poems together and mixed in music to the tracks, mostly whimsical and alternative.
